University Scholarship Program for Skating Participants

The University Scholarship Program for Skating Participants is designed to recognize and support skaters who demonstrate dedication, growth, leadership, and commitment through their involvement in figure skating. This scholarship aims to ease the financial transition to post-secondary education while celebrating the personal development fostered by long-term participation in the sport. The 2026 deadline for submission is February 15th, 2026.  The successful recipient(s) will be notified in March, with the award formally presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Purpose of the Scholarship

This scholarship acknowledges that competitive and recreational skating cultivates valuable life skills such as discipline, time management, perseverance, goal setting, teamwork, and resilience. The program seeks to reward skaters who have balanced academic pursuits with the demands of training, competition, coaching, officiating, or volunteer involvement within the skating community.
