CAN SKATE
The CanSkate program further develops basic skating skills in a group setting (backwards, balance, turns, stroking). All skaters must have passed CanSkate badges 1 & 2 (from the Learn-to-Skate program) and have received coach recommendation before moving to any CanSkate program. There are a total of seven stages to complete (or badges to earn) in CanSkate. |

POWER SKATING
The Pre-Power program is available for young skaters who wish to learn skating basics in a power-skating specfic environment. Pre-Power further develops basic skating skills in a group setting (backwards, balance, endurance, stroking, turns). Open to all ages; however, this is strictly a coach-recommended program and skaters must have passed CanSkate badges 1 & 2 (from the Learn-to-Skate program). |

SPIN, SPIRAL, JUMP
Learn the basics of Figure Skating in a group setting while perfecting basic skating skills. This program is for all ages; however, skaters must be working on CanSkate Level 4 Badge and be recommended by a professional coach prior to entry in SSJ. SSJ skaters participate in the Gala event in March.
